Atlantic Electric completes Parking Lot Renovation of Charleston International Airport

Atlantic Electric recently completed the Surface Lot Renovation and Expansion project for Charleston International Airport. The electrical portion of the project required the demolition and relocation of the existing parking lot lighting. The existing lighting poles were removed and the concrete bases were demolished. Forty six new concrete bases were installed and re-fed with new power and fiber optic raceways by directional boring. Hand-holes and communication raceways were also provided and installed by directional boring. The new and existing poles as well as an existing warehouse were retrofitted with new LED luminaries including lighting controls. Upgrades of the existing power distribution were provided for a new revenue booth.
